How EazyCG handles data and privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how EazyCG (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use our website and tools (the “Service”).

  • Most tools run locally in your browser. When possible, file processing and exporting happen on your device.
  • Some features call third‑party services. For example, the Terrain Generator may request map imagery/elevation tiles from providers like Mapbox.
  • We use local browser storage for preferences (for example, plan/tier selection or an optional “remember token” setting for third‑party keys).

2. Information we collect

a) Information you provide. You may upload files (images, 3D models) to use the tools. In many cases these files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to EazyCG servers. If you contact us, you may provide information like your name, email, and message content.

b) Third‑party tokens/keys you enter. Some tools support “bring your own key” workflows (for example, a public Mapbox token for terrain tiles). These tokens are stored in your browser (session storage by default; local storage only if you enable “Remember token”) and are sent directly from your browser to the relevant third‑party provider when making requests.

c) Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically receive basic log data when you load the site, such as IP address, browser type, and requested pages/files. This data is typically used for security and performance monitoring.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service (load pages, run tools, and deliver exports).
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Improve the Service (for example, fixing bugs and optimizing performance).

4. Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal information.

The Service may interact with third parties:

  • Map/imagery providers. When using terrain features, your browser may request tiles from providers (for example, Mapbox). Those providers receive your IP address and request details, and (if applicable) your token/key.
  • Video embeds. If we embed tutorial videos (e.g., YouTube), the embedded player may collect data as described in that provider’s privacy policy.
  • Payments. If paid subscriptions are enabled in the future, payments will be handled by a third‑party processor. We do not intend to store full payment card numbers on our servers.

5. Local storage, cookies, and similar tech

EazyCG uses browser storage to remember preferences and settings. Examples include:

  • Selected tier/plan settings used for UI behavior.
  • Optional “Remember token” preference for third‑party keys (disabled by default).

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser’s site data/storage.

Advertising notice: If we show ads in the future (for example, on the Free plan), ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies to measure performance and show relevant ads. We will update this policy as advertising features roll out.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect the Service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Avoid sharing sensitive information through the Service.

7. Data retention

Browser‑stored preferences remain on your device until you clear them. Server logs (if any) may be retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes, then deleted or anonymized.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. You can also:

  • Disable any “Remember token” option and remove stored tokens from your browser.
  • Clear site data (cookies/local storage) in your browser.
  • Stop using the Service at any time.

9. Children’s privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
